- Advertised products are a 330% greater increase in brand preference than those not advertised.
- People purchase a product as a direct result and in the following proportions:
Internet: 6%
Cable TV: 16%
Network TV: 34%
Magazines: 44%
- In the United States alone, more than 10,000 companies market their goods and services through almost 14,000 different catalogs.
- Catalog sales in the U.S. were estimated at $133 billion in 2003.
- Method of contact preferred by consumers:
Regular Mail: 76%
Email: 8%
Telephone: 7%
In-person visit: 6%
No preference: 4%
